We have now reopened and while we have been closed exciting things have been happening in our garden! We have just completed a beautiful rustic boardwalk through the ancient cassia fistula trees. The boisden (bayleaf wood) railings provide that rustic feel. At the top is a viewing platform and seat, perfect for enjoying a nice cup of tea or a drink while taking in the perfect view that encompasses Fort George, Port Louis Marina, Grand Anse Beach, Quarantine Point and Point Salines. The plants here are shampoo gingers, crotons, peace lillies, ferns, ornamentals and orchids attached to the tree trunks.
